Two years ago, Ray Hymas was tragically lost off the East Antrim Coast, when he and a colleague tried to make it back to Scotland in their microlite aircraft.
Today, his widow Gill, her son, family and friends returned to Glenarm on the Antrim Coast, to present money they had raised in appreciation of the searches undertaken at that time by the three voluntary organisations North West Mountain Rescue Team, Community Rescue Service and the RNLI.
We…and the other organisations involved are very grateful for over £2900 presented to each of us and we would like to thank Gill and her family and friends for this donation, which came as a result of a sad and tragic circumstance and offer once again, our condolences for your loss.
